There is a real problem with the ads on this website. Why are they so inappropriate? I think they are REALLY derogatory towards new users, and should be removed. At least make it so the ads can be removed. My friend needed his PC to be fixed because the ad leaded him into a website with a virus. I am a young user, and no joke, my parents don't like me being on this website because of the "Adult Arcade" ads. This is a really good website, and I hate that it is mostly ruined because of mature ads. Please fix this as soon as possible (if anyone even reads this).

i can't fix this unfortunally but you can go to @TomFulp and ask him some stuff. i can't do anything about this issue but if you want to do something about it try to take action and bring idea's to better the site to tom. i am sure he will lissen if you are respectfull and have some good idea's.
The big problem with NG is that we've long been black-listed by Google Adsense, which locks us out of the majority of the ad exchanges on the Internet. Google owns DoubleClick and most exchanges tie in to Google services now.
As a result, we get what ads we can and they aren't ideal.
We would really like to move away from the ad model completely but to do that we need a lot more supporters. Not to mention when you become a supporter, you can browse ad free so the problem is solved immediately. There's also ad-blockers, which the majority of visitors are already using - if no one used ad blockers we could at least run less ads / be a bit more selective. I'd really prefer to just move past ads completely, though.
